Sandy Lim Edwards is a Vice President of Operations at Restaurant Associates, where she leads food operations for JPMorganChase in Chicago. She joined the Restaurant Associates team in April 2026, bringing extensive leadership experience and a deep understanding of corporate dining, catering, and workplace hospitality. Prior to this role, Sandy spent 14 years with Guckenheimer, beginning in 2012 as General Manager of Catering Operations and advancing through five leadership roles, demonstrating her ability to adapt, lead, and excel in a dynamic hospitality environment.
With more than 23 years of experience across sushi and Japanese fine dining, corporate dining, catering, and event operations, Sandy brings a deep understanding of both restaurant execution and large-scale workplace hospitality. She has successfully led café services, free food programs, and more than 500 corporate events serving up to 2,500 guests, bringing a solution-based approach to every operation she supports.
Known for her expertise in restaurant operations, corporate catering, project management, and event planning, Sandy is passionate about building strong teams, creating seamless guest experiences, and using food as a universal language to bring people together. Her leadership style is grounded in collaboration, accountability, and a commitment to making people happy through hospitality.
Sandy is also a recognized leader in Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging. She served as Chair of the DEIB Council for SHFM in 2024 and has held several other leadership positions within the organization, further reflecting her commitment to advocacy, inclusion, and meaningful industry engagement.
Fun Fact: Early in her career, Sandy managed sushi restaurants and personally delivered sushi to the JPMorganChase towers in Chicago — long before returning in a leadership role. She has also tried fugu, a rare Japanese delicacy that can be dangerous if not prepared correctly, and lived to tell the story.
